TRL has been commissioned by the World Bank to develop a manual which will provide technical guidance to community-led access projects. TRL is committed to ensuring that the manual is based upon what actually works in practice - technical assessments and surveys, roads, paths, spot improvements, maintenance, culvert designs, road standards, traffic considerations, material usage, design decisions, surfacing options and so on - and to include case studies of good practice. TRL is therefore welcoming participation from anyone who is working on a community-led access project. A small payment is available to those contributing useful information.
