New Graduate Course in Gender, Transportation and Development

The Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), a regional institute for higher learning located in Thailand, has launched a graduate course on Gender, Transportation and Development. The course starts in August 2008, and is open for application now.
This graduate education course is part of an education cum research project funded by Japan-ASEAN Solidarity Fund of ASEAN Foundation titled 'Capacity Building for Gender, Poverty and Mobility Analysis of Road Transportation Development in GMS'. Small research and workshops will be organized in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar, and a regional workshop will be held at the end of the project.For more information please visit the website:
