Re~Cycle Ships 30,000th Bike!
2009-07-07

A landmark 30,000th bicycle was shipped by Re~Cycle to their new project in Zambia. The bike, donated by Trevor Moles of Colchester, belonged to his wife's Aunt who sadly broke her hip and is no longer able to ride, but wanted her bike to be given to someone in Africa. An indicative story of the many people who have donated bikes to this charity whose mission it is to ease the transport burden of women, children, outreach workers, farm workers and commuters in Africa by collecting and shipping second-hand bicycles.
